ACLU Requests Summons for DoD

April 29, 2025 - The ACLU submitted a request for summons for the Department of Defense and Pete Hegseth, possibly in response to the government arguing in a separate case that they were not violating a temporary restraining order (TRO) because the Department of Defense (DoD) was not listed as a defendant in that case, and therefore was not violating the TRO when the DoD removed people not at the direction of DHS.
